Wind Speed Meter

Vertically operated, this and-held meter relies on pressure differences to accurately measure wind speed in mph. As air flows across the top of the instrument a small ball rises in a tube and indicates the current wind speed. This cleverly designed meter is pocket sized and is an ideal fieldwork tool.

This CFM/CMM thermometer anemometer measures air velocity, air flow (volume) and temperature. The large, easy-to-read backlit LCD includes primary and secondary displays plus numerous status indicators. This instrument has been designed for flexibility and its ruggedness will allow for many years use. The low friction, ball-bearing design allows the vane wheel to respond freely to air flow resulting in accuracy at both high and low velocities. Able to measure in knots, metres/sec, feet/min, kilometres/hour or miles per hour, it also has a hold function which allows the value in the display to be stored and written down. The small, light-weight design allows one handed operation and there is also a low-battery indicator. Comes complete with instruction Manual and lightweight carry case. Battery included.

ADC Summit

This unique, multi-functional product combines an Altimeter, Barometer, Anemometer, Thermometer and clock into one compact pocket sized device. Accurate and incredibly adaptable, the ADC Summit’s altimeter is accurate to +/- 1 metre (can also show feet), the barometer displays current pressure in hPa or Hg as well as the readings over the last 16 hours, the anemometer can show current wind speed (in mph, knots, beaufort, km/h or m/s) as well as maximum, average and maximum average speeds finally the thermometer will not only record the temperature in C° or F° but will also compute the wind chill factor. Pocket-Sized Handheld Anemometer

This digital instrument incorporates an anemometer and thermometer; it measures wind speed, wind chill and temperature information for any outdoors activity. Choose between three different wind speed displays, current wind speed, maximum speed and average speed, each can be measured in km/h, mph, m/s, kts and the Beaufort scale (bft). The temperature and wind chill mode will give you the current readings in either ºC or ºF.

Anemometer

Hand-held or permanently fixed. Measures wind speed in m/sec or Beaufort Scale, directly read from scale on main shaft. As the wind blows harder, the arms move further out, lifting the reading bar. Ideal for primary and lower secondary pupils.
