This popular series of all-purpose maps are equally useful in both the office and home.
The 204-sheet Landranger® map series cover England, Wales and Scotland in comprehensive detail. Each map displays an area of 25 square miles (40 square kilometres) and is packed with information. Like other Ordnance Survey maps, Landrangers are provided with National Grid squares in order that all features may be given a unique reference number and quickly found using grid references.
In addition to the basic Ordnance Survey format of paper folded, we offer a laminated folded version.

Ordnance Survey Explorer™ Map Series

As part of the Ordnance Survey’s ongoing project to produce a unified map series to cover the UK at 1:25 000 scale, it was decided to merge the Explorer and Outdoor Leisure map series. The combined Explorer series still details National Parks and Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty with the Outdoor Leisure maps identifiable with a yellow flash on the otherwise orange cover. Please contact our customer services department if you require any advice regarding this changeover.
The Explorer maps cover most of Great Britain at a scale of 1:25 000 (1 mile to 2.5 inches) and the sheet lines are based geographically to cater for regional tourism. Many maps overlap to ensure the inclusion of key features on the edge of the coverage area. They show gardens open to the public, nature reserves, country paths, footpaths and bridleways. They also show camping and caravan sites, picnic areas and viewpoints. In addition those maps covering England and Wales also provide rights of way information making them ideal for off-road walkers and cyclists. They are ideal for detailed exploration of footpaths, the National Trail and Recreational Path routes. For some areas of the country where the data is available these maps now also mark all Open Access land as defined by the Countryside Rights of Way Act.

United Kingdom Map Series

Each of the three Ordnance Survey maps in this range focus on key themes in the study of the geography of the UK.
British Isles Communications
Maps out Britain’s communications infrastructure. Shows road, rail and ferry communication links as well as the Greenwich Meridian. Road distances are provided in miles and kilometres in an easily referenced pyramid graph.
British Isles Physical
Contains a vast amount of geographical and hydrological detail presented in an easy-to-read and interpret style. New version now includes Ireland and the relief features are further enhanced giving a 3D effect. Also features text and illustrations linked to the National Curriculum.
United Kingdom Administrative
This excellent map clearly displays the national boundaries, counties, regions and unitary authorities of the UK along with larger scale insets to clarify information in areas of high population densities. Road networks also included.

Europe

Published by the Ordnance Survey this map combines both the physical relief and political boundaries of Europe, North Africa and Western Asia. Major communication links - major roads, main railways and airports are depicted along with capitals and other selected cities and towns. Using the Lambert Azimuthal EAP, rivers and international boundaries are also shown. There is an insert detailing the flags of each European country along with their populations, area, capital and currency, as well as an inset map showing the EU member states.

Eckert IV Projection World Map

This Ordnance Survey map features equal area projections, Pacific and polar view insets, national flags and population and time zone information. This Political map, which also displays physical features, shows international political boundaries with capital cities clearly marked. Physical features include rivers, mountain ranges and clear relief contours.

Miller Projection World Map

From the Ordnance Survey, these maps display the World with capital cities, time zones and national flags. The Political edition with Physical features shows countries with political colourings and gives population details. Physical features include vegetated or barren land and mountain ranges are clearly defined.
