Sediment Analysis Software

This program allows students to undertake graphical and statistical analysis of sediments and related materials based on data collected using sieves and callipers. The software allows rapid creation of databases and powerful analysis of four sediment types:
- Bedload - analysis using Power’s scale of roundness and standard size classes
- Roundness - applicable to river bedload work, beach pebbles or till fabric
- Fines - soils and sand dune sediments, river gravel, beach matter and glacial till
- Orientation - applies to anything which is aligned or orientated, e.g. moss cover.
