WS-2000 MKIII Weather Station
Introducing the revolutionary WS-2000 MKIII Weather Station complete with CC-3000 datalogger and Weather View 32 software. This wireless weather station is designed to eliminate the problems associated with installation and servicing of conventional stations. No wires or cables to install. All the sensors come pre-assembled in a single, easy to mount masthead. Data is transmitted via 433Mhz radio waves to a datalogger (thus negating the need for a dedicated PC). With 2MB of flash memory, this datalogger can store up to 11 months’ worth of data at a 10 minute logging interval (capacity will vary depending on selected sensors) before downloading to a computer is necessary.
The Weather View 32 software forms a comprehensive nucleus to support a truly astonishing range of enquiry work and IT applications. Reporting modules include daily, monthly, max/min and climate reports. The database of unique weather records logged by this station can be utilised as a fantastic source of raw primary data. The scope for cross-curricular work focused on statistics, graphing and trend/pattern analysis are endless. Data may also be exported to other IT applications such as spreadsheets. Additionally, Weather View 32 features internet connectivity allowing data to be automatically posted to a website!
The station can be purchased with a tripod or MK-III mono mount. Quick and easy to install the mono mount can be mounted on a pitched or flat roof as well as a vertical surface such as a gable-end.
WV32 Software Version 8
New features added to version 8 include the ability to create your own personal website, without having to be an expert in html or web design. Display your personal weather data on a webpage that can be viewed by anyone with internet access. 360 Newly redesigned three-dimensional real-time monitoring screens that are optimised for the three most common screen resolutions. Weather data can be more easily backed up and restored, using a Weather View provided tool. Make your own personal diary of local weather data by adding specific comments to daily weather. This feature allows you to comment on aspects of weather that the weather station does not recognise, for example the amount of cloud cover on a particular day. User guides are now available within the WV32 program.

Weather Oracle MKIII Display
The Oracle Display for the MK III Wireless Weather Stations receives the weather instrument data via radio signal from the MK III sensor assembly.
Every measured or calculated parameter has a display, including a wind direction indicator. Some windows have options on what is displayed; the temperature window will display either outside temperature, inside temperature, wind chill or dew point. In addition to the real-time data, the Weather Oracle records minimum and maximum values, with time of occurrence, for wind speed, temperature, relative humidity, temperature humidity index, dew point, and barometer. For rainfall, two different accumulations are recorded. Each rainfall counter shows the time and date of the last counter reset.

Developed in the USA for use with the WS-2000 Weather Station, this is a powerful and flexible package allowing imaginative displays of 'run-time' data (what is actually happening outside at that moment) and historical data stored from previous days or weeks. To create a display the user can select from a bank of pre-defined instrument displays ranging from simple 'data panels' to complex 'instrument' such as realistic thermometers, barometers or wind speed gauges. By combining selections of these it is possible to create some quite stunning and highly professional displays in just a few clicks of the mouse. The displays can also be 'personalised' by the addition of timed or static messages. These can be used to add labels to instruments or give warnings to draw the user's attention to say, strong gusts of wind or extremes of temperature, which Weather View 32 has detected.
Any data downloaded from the data logger in the past together with current run-time data can be presented in the form of graphs. These can also be formatted to suit the required time period (from a 6 hour time span to 1 month) and graph style or scale. The software allows the user to obtain three styles of reports at the click of a mouse By using the report function you are able to display the daily maximum and minimum readings, A full summary of all data recorded that day and a monthly summary with maximum and minimum values. Weather View 32 will allow data to be edited manually and allow data records to be exported to other applications such as Excel or Word.
To run Weather View 32 a 1 ghz + processor with 256mb of RAM running Windows® NT4.0+, 2000, XP, Vista or Windows 7 is required. A high quality colour display adaptor is recommended for optimum results. A CD-ROM Drive, USB port, and 500mb free hard disk space + 50mb per year are also required. ![]() ![]() |
